The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Pygmy Shark is built by Shark Coast Tactical on the proven Ruger Mark IV 22/45 platform with a custom 3.1″ shortened barrel that improves balance and handling in a compact suppressed configuration optimized for plinking, training, and suppressed recreational shooting. The Mark IV’s tool-free takedown system provides simple, straightforward disassembly for cleaning and maintenance without tools, and the 22/45 grip angle mirrors the 1911 platform for a familiar, comfortable hold for shooters transitioning from centerfire pistols. A 10-round magazine delivers standard rimfire capacity in a lightweight, easy-handling platform suited for extended range sessions and training use.

The suppressed 22 LR pistol package is paired with the JK Armament 105 RFX modular suppressor, which allows the user to adjust sound attenuation and overall package length by configuring the modular suppressor sections to personal preference for a customizable ultra-quiet shooting experience. The modular design provides flexibility for shooters who want to balance suppression performance against overall package length depending on the application and shooting environment. Fast, tool-free suppressor attachment and removal keeps the Pygmy Shark package practical for shooters who want to run the platform suppressed or unsuppressed depending on the situation.

Shark Coast Tactical equipped the Pygmy Shark with a Viridian green dot optic for fast, precise target acquisition in all lighting conditions, delivering immediate optic-ready performance straight from the box without additional purchases or fitment work. The combination of the custom 3.1″ shortened barrel, modular JK105 RFX suppressor, and Viridian green dot creates a complete, purpose-built suppressed 22 LR package that is ready to shoot straight from the box. It represents Shark Coast Tactical’s approach to delivering a turnkey ultra-quiet rimfire pistol platform for shooters who demand a fully configured suppressed package without sourcing components separately.
