Additional information

The Ruger Super Blackhawk is a favorite choice among handgun hunters, competitive shooters, and revolver experts for its exceptionally high standard of precision and excellent performance. This is a Ruger classic original style design frame and configuration 44, with the authentic long barrel of a precision weapon and classic wooden grip design of the original 44s.

It has advanced security measures against accidental discharge with its patented transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock. The Super Blackhawk features a ramp front sight and adjustable rear sights, and a brushed hardwood grip. It has a stainless slide and unfluted cylinder. Its twist rate is 1:20″ in RH.

The New Ruger Model Super Blackhawk is powerful, single-action performance. The models are chambered in the powerful 44 Magnum, but also accept factory 44 Special cartridges, which deliver superb accuracy and a milder recoil.

The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. Their traditional western-style, hand-filling grips have long been acknowledged as one of the most comfortable and natural pointing of any grip style.
